Great lunch stop! We were road tripping and looking for a good meal and loved Tacos A La Mexicana. We got burritos, the shrimp burrito was especially tasty.
My mother and I arrived late to Merrill, 7:15 PM, and were looking for someplace to grab a quick meal before bed. There were only a couple places open, so we gave these guys a shot, and I'm so glad we did. Though they closed at 8:00 and we didn't get there until 7:30, they had no issues with seating us, and the food was out in maybe 10 minutes. We got chicken enchiladas. The food was so fresh and tasty! The salsa is came with had a bit of a kick, not too much unless you're sensitive to such, but really good flavor. The lady was nice as well. Just a good experience. We don't pass through often, but will definitely stop in again.
I'm from Mexico city and have been living in Houston for almost a year and a half. These are the best tacos I've had so far, every other "Mexican" restaurant has been disappointing cause they don't have the real mexican flavor. This place is perfect all over, the salsa is great, the beans taste like home. We had carne asada and chicken tacos, and cheese enchiladas, which are the real thing, not like the so called enchiladas with cheddar cheese on top. If you want real Mexican food you have to come here. The place is not fancy, but hey, the best tacos in Mexico are the ones you eat on the street!

Amazing authentic Mexican food!! Our family were travelling and were very fortunate to have the pleasure to eat at this wonderful spot the lady was super nice and the food was delicious highly recommend guacamole to die for, enchilada was perfect and tacos are just YUmmy my little guy had a quesadilla with chicken it’s was the best one I ever tasted!
Been there for their burritos and tortas which are delicious. However, I kept hearing of their goat birria on the weekends and I must say, it is by far the best I've ever had! All of their plates are great but the birria takes the price
Really good food. Homemade tortillas!!! Just great. Very generous with the food. Little desert if you want some Super nice lady reminds me of my Grandma. Very homie little place. Recommended for sure.
